Kitchen Fire Causes Soot in Bathroom

The soot in this bathroom was caused by a kitchen fire. Although there was little damage to the actual bathroom the soot that lined the walls and floor is clearly seen.

Cleaning the soot is the easy part, especially in a tub. It is the odor left behind by the damage that is much harder. SERVPRO of Northwest Phoenix/Anthem uses ozone machines and air filtration devices to remove the odors from fire damaged homes.

Now you may be wondering why the linoleum was removed. The fire in the kitchen had the same linoleum and was damaged. The entire floor needed replacing all the way to the bathroom.
