Debris and Soot Left Over From Small Fire
Back Room Damaged by Small Fire
An electrical fire had broken out in the celling and the firemen had to break it down to put it out. The debris from the ceiling was all over the back room of this facility in Peoria, AZ.
SERVPRO of Northwest Phoenix/Anthem sent over two crews to help mitigate the damage. First the rest of the burned and broken ceiling were removed in preparation for a new one. The brick wall needed to be lightly pressure washed to get it clean of soot. After the debris was removed from the flooring it was also pressure washed to remove the fine soot.
The air and walls had a lot of smoke smell that lingered. Usually walls can be painted but a brick wall needs to be deodorized. Using thermal foggers and an ozone machine the brick finally released the smoke odor and the back room was back to normal.
